Blessing of the Sun ceremony draws national attention

A Blessing of the Sun ceremony, which is only done once every 28 years, was held just recently in Montevideo, drawing the attention of national media.

The director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Uruguay, Rabbi Eliezer Shemtov, explained to the media the significance of this rare occassion, which happens before the Passover, right after the sunrise ceremonies. A plane pulling a banner praising God and thanking him was even there.
